How could you not like Necro? The man is entertaining as hell and has the autonomy to create whatever the fuck he wants, no matter how sick or depraved. I’ve followed Necro’s career ever since I saw him and his brother Ill Bill perform at a rinky-dink club in the East Village, pre-fame. Even back then, I knew they were destined for big things. Aside from controlling own music and merchandise, Necro and the legendary Kool G. Rap teamed up to form The Godfathers; their double EP (tentatively-titled Murder Muder, Kill Kill) is due out sometime this year.
“She’s Got Great Assets” (a.k.a. “Hoes In A Hotel”) is Necro’s latest self-directed video and as always, it’s enjoyable. It ain’t rocket science: Necro spits his patented verbal porn while hot broads in bikinis shake their moneymakers. The beat’s pretty smooth, considering the debauchery.
